From Riff to Release: Death Race
About ten years ago, I recorded some raw guitar riffs β just me, a guitar, and a drum machine keeping time. Nothing fancy, just an idea caught in the moment. Fast forward to last week: my friend and fellow musician Samuel sent me that same recording on Telegram, like pulling an old ghost out of the drawer.
Without overthinking it, we threw it into SUNO and let the machine have its way with it. After that, I gave it an extra push using LandR to shape the final energy.
As for the lyrics? I handed that job to ChatGPT. I wanted something clichΓ©, something almost cheesy β but fully in the spirit of Judas Priest. And it worked.
“Death Race” came together like that: part human, part machine.
